In interior design, a specification refers to a detailed description of materials, finishes, fixtures, fittings etc to be used in a project.
I will recommend a list of items to purchase to achieve your desired style. This list may be guided by your budget, current art, accessories, furniture and soft furnishings.
It outlines the specific requirements and standards for each element in the design, including dimensions, colours, quality, and any other relevant details. Specifications are essential for ensuring that the design vision is accurately executed and that the final result meets the desired standards and functionality.
Trade Prices
I have negotiated VIP discounted rates across a wide variety of stores. This means you get to enjoy a partial of my trade prices.
The selection can include:
Materials and finishes such as tiles, timbers, paint, flooring, stone and wallpaper, fixtures and fittings, art, accessories and soft furnishes
Drawings and Plans
Finding it hard to visualise your project? I will provide you with a lifelike interpretation of your interior spaces with a picture-perfect positioning of all your preferred details from various angles. I’ll create a representation of a fully furnished and decorated room including lighting, textures and materials.
Maybe a 2D space plan is enough? This is like a 'map' showing the flat layout of a space from above without perspective or depth. It will often show the walls and room layout, plus fixed installations such as windows, doors and stairs as well as basic furniture placement.
Moodboard
This is the perfect service to follow your Initial Consultation or Hands-on Consultation.
A mood board (or inspiration board) is a digital collage of ideas to help you figure out the style, mood, colour palette and overall feel you’re looking for.
Creating a mood board allows us to collect your thoughts, ideas and colour schemes all in one place and define a cohesive design concept that captures your vision. It may incorporate images of your current artwork or furniture if that is in line with your idea.
Shopping trip - Let’s go shopping! one on one.
Let’s go shopping! Generally, this stage happens once you’re happy with the mood board/s or have completed a Selection Proposal, so we have a clear purpose when we hit the shops.
We may take fabric samples and images of your current artwork, tiles and floorboards or whichever item that will help us to choose the best options for you.
Design Hours
Purchase Design Hours to call, text, FaceTime or email anytime you need on-the-spot advice.
This pay-as-you-go service is perfect if you want to source items yourself but would like on-call support while you’re shopping or making decisions.
It works best after completing a mood board or Selection Proposal.
This service is also available for clients at home trying to style new purchases as they arrive.
Ongoing Support
This service is for ongoing projects. It allows for follow-up visits after your Initial Consultation or Hands-on Consultation.
Concierge Service
Leave the hard work to me. If you’re happy with the Selection Proposal, I can purchase all of the recommended items and organise delivery for you. You don’t have to do a thing. This service includes:
